About The Application Process
Admission is conducted on a first come, first served basis, with priority given first to Temple members and then to families of children enrolled at the time of application. The Early Learnning Center serves children ages 12 months through age 6 regardless of ethnic, racial or religious background. All families must reapply each year, but currently enrolled families are given priority registration to reserve their space for the next year.
The application process for the next school year begins in January.
Early January – Applications open for members of Temple Emanuel.
Mid January – Applications open for families currently enrolled in the ELC, but are not members of the Temple.
Late January - Applications open for families waitlisted from the previous school year.
End of January – Applications open for all interested families in the community.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until a program is full. At that time, new applicants will be added to a waitlist in order of application. We will fill spaces from the waitlist as space becomes available. All families must reapply each year. A waitlist only exists for the school year for which the application was made.
what to expect
Once an application has been submitted with a $50 application fee, you can expect to hear from the Director of Admissions within approximately 3 weeks either inviting you to complete registration or notifying you that you have been added to a waitlist. Upon receiving an invitation to complete registration, you will have the opportunity to reserve your space by making a NONREFUNDABLE AND NONTRANSFERABLE registration deposit consisting of a $75 registration fee + one month's tuition. This deposit will be applied to your May 2018 tuition.
