School Year Classes

Please note, since COVID-19 policies, we are continuing with our low ratios in our classrooms, and there will only be 10-12 children per classroom with 2-3 teachers per classroom depending on age. This is different to what our school used to look like as our ratios ranged anywhere from 10-18 per classroom with 2-3 teachers. Our Transitional Kindergarten is the one classroom that differs from this model and it will have 12 children to one Kindergarten teacher. We have seen the value in keeping our numbers low since COVID-19, and we are happy to continue to support more individual learning within a classroom setting with these low ratios.

toddlers

Our Toddler Program is a play-based experience where toddlers develop secure relationships with teachers who support their growing need for independence while still respecting boundaries. We value parent engagement and support ongoing dialogue regarding parenting of this uniquely wonderful age group.

Days: 5 days per week
Class Size: 10-12 students with 1 educator
Transitional Kindergarten program is designed to respond to individual needs by offering children exciting and challenging learning experiences through hands-on, emergent curriculum that follows Colorado State Core Standards. This class is led by a certified Kindergarten teacher to prepare children to be cognitively, emotional and socially ready for Kindergarten. Our small class size allows us to work individually with each child, at their own pace, on specific skills they need to be successful. The Transitional Kindergarten is designed for children who are turning 5 years old and can benefit from a small and familiar setting before their Kindergarten experience. Priority will go to current Pre-K children and then offered to children who have turned 4 years old by January 2023.
